THE ENVIRONMENTAL CALENDAR!
YES! It’s finally here…. The
Basically, the idea is the same as in ‘calendar girls’- except
we’re not all middle-aged women! Each month is based around a different aspect
of environmentalism (i.e. water efficiency, recycling, organic produce, etc) and
there’s plenty of useful hints and tips on how to make yourself as eco-friendly
as possible, with the minimum amount of effort!
Oh yes- and we’re all semi-naked!
Let me assure you, it’s nothing you wouldn’t want to show your mum
(mine has already ordered three!) it’s all very tastefully done, and all for a
good cause. The profits are to be split between local and national charities,
with a proportion going towards the eco-house fund.

President!)….

That’s as much as you’re gonna get! If you want to see Roger in
all his glory, as well as the rest of us, you will have to purchase a copy for
yourself!
The calendars will be on
sale as from the start of week 6, priced at a very reasonable £5. They will be available every
Tues at the environmental society stall in Library square, and also from the Activities Centre (Falmer house). If you do not
want to come on to campus, please email me at: sussexenvirosoc@googlemail.com and I will sort out payment
and delivery by other methods.
There will be a launch party on Monday 7th November in East Slope, starting about
Can we take this opportunity to thank everyone involved- firstly
Michael (I’m not Canadian!) for all his tireless work taking the pictures,
designing and generally sorting out pretty much everything! Paul- for taking
some amazing pictures as well (it’s a hard old job!) All the fearless models
(although there is something liberating about being naked in the middle of
campus!) thank you so, so much! All the guys in the
We hope everyone enjoys their calendars. It’s taken a year and a
lot of work to get done, but we think you’ll all agree it’s worth it!
Cheers and respect to the lot of you.
