Start with your hands raised; i.e. fingers pointing roughly up. The attacker grabs e.g. the right wrist with his right hand. |

Sharply hit the inner aspect of the attacker's right wrist with the bony part of your left wrist; at the same time pull your right hand sharply away. These joint actions create a sudden force against the attacker's right thumb, releasing his grip. | ||
|
Step across with your right leg to help generate power for the slap with your left hand to the attacker's ear. |
