Women's Self Defence - Raised Cross Side Grab

Raised cross side wrist grab




Start with your hands raised; i.e. fingers pointing roughly up. The attacker grabs e.g. the right wrist with his right hand.

Sharply hit the inner aspect of the attacker's right wrist with the bony part of your left wrist; at the same time pull your right hand sharply away. These joint actions create a sudden force against the attacker's right thumb, releasing his grip.
Step across with your right leg to help generate power for the slap with your left hand to the attacker's ear.
