[USAS] our sincere apologies

Hi everyone,
would just like to say sorry for the number of emails being sent out by usas
recently. We realise that you would tend to overlook important usas emails
if we *spam* you. We'll try to keep the number of emails sent by us to a
mininum and with relavent information. again. sincere apologies.

The next big event usas is planning is the usas mela, early next term. those
of you who were here last year probably remember it, which was a huge
success.

Those of you who could help out for it (creative ideas, gulab jamuns, food
ideas, interesting games, an antakshari session?, maybe some performances),
please get in touch with us.

The idea is to recreate a proper 'mela' from back home here at sussex. we
will need loads of help if it has to succeed. I'll appreciate any input,
however small it is.

[USAS] WORK PERMIT KA KYA??? meeting house wed 29th 6:30 pm

Hi everyone..

The BIG question. If you're an international student, what DO you do after
your degree??? Go home? Intern somewhere? try for a job?
every person has some information, that, if shared, would be very helpful
for all of us.
IS IT EASY GETTING A WORK PERMIT? WHAT TO DO AFTER UNI? GO BACK TO
INDIA/PAKISTAN/ETC?

USAS decided to have a general discussion, which i hope you all can attend.
Some specific information from CDEC will also be obtained by us, so we can
share it with you.
Also, information from an lawyer has also been collected, which will be
helpful.
