What we do

USAS aims to bring to sussex the amazing variety, colour, and traditionality of asian culture. In a nutshell, we offer everything from normal outings to the local curry place, to amazing festival celeberations, to movie screenings.

There is something for everyone. For people who have just arrived to Sussex from asia, we offer an excellent support system, making sure that no student has time, or reason, to feel homesick or lost. Regular meetings make sure that everyone on campus sharing a taste in asian culture meet often.

For people just enchanted by the asian culture, we have chai (herbal tea) nights, curry nights, clubbing events, etc. We also screen the latest bollywood blockbusters on campus!
